Students benefit from working in the college’s dedicated engineering workshops, which perfectly replicate industry, meaning they are ideally placed to go straight into work at the end of their course.

Our engineering courses specialise in land-based vehicles, including JCBs, tractors and horticultural equipment.  Students have access to a range of tools, training equipment (including welding simulators) and machinery, plus expert tutors, to help them develop the skills they need.

The college also has outstanding links with relevant businesses in the region, further improving students’ chances of securing work.
