The Course

This course will equip you with the ‘whole package’ for a career – or higher level study – in travel, tourism and hospitality.

From local to long-haul, from marketing to management, from event planning to eco-tourism – this is a varied and engaging programme enriched by off-site visits and guest speakers.

    Students will also get to study the NCFE Level 2 Cabin Crew and Resort Rep qualifications* as part of their programme of study which will give you the advantage you need when beginning your journey into the industry.

  • Entry Requirements

    Four GCSEs at grade 4 or C or equivalent, preferably including English and Maths, or a relevant BTEC Level 2 / First Diploma. One satisfactory reference is also needed.

  • Pathways

    A range of pathways are available, dependent on your qualifications.

    • One-year Extended Certificate
    • One-year Foundation Diploma
    • Two-year Diploma 
    • Two-year Extended Diploma.
  • Progression

    Students can progress to study Travel and Tourism at degree-level.

  • Careers

    Work as a travel agent, events manager, visitor attraction manager, travel consultant, business development manager, marketing manager and many more.

Georgia chose to study the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism because the coursework element appealed to her, rather than qualifications that are more exams-based.
