Health & Social Care CACHE Level 3 : 2022 intake

Working in the Health & Social Care sector requires a very special kind of person. Dedicated, passionate and always willing to go the extra mile to help make a real difference to the lives of others.

This course is designed to provide a holistic programme of applied and general learning related to the occupational areas of Health Care and Social Care.

On completion of the programme you will have the option of progressing to further or higher study, choosing from a range of specialisms, or finding employment.

Engaging with employers is also an integral part of this programme – we’ll seek to ensure that you have opportunities to gain real-world experience of your chosen sector.

Topics on your Study Programme will include:

• Equality, Diversity & Rights
• Effective Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Human Growth and Development
• Sociological & Psychological Perspectives of Health & Social Care
• Anatomy & Physiology
• Professional Development in the Workplace

Five GCSE’s at grade 9 – 4, including English Language, Maths and preferably Science.

You will be internally assessed through assignments, externally set assignments, formal examinations, projects, personal research and practical placements.
