This higher apprenticeship can offer you a work-based route into Business & Professional Administration. It is aimed at experienced business professionals such as office managers, admin team leaders and business development executives.
You will study a range of units relevant to your work, which could include communicating in business, resolving administration problems, ethics in a business environment. It will also involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative procedures.
The apprenticeship will allow you to learn, develop and practise the higher level skills needed for professional career progression. You will gain generic and specific management and technical skills appropriate to your field or aspirations. The qualification also gives you opportunities for research, analysis and original thought which are skills valued by Higher Education Institutions.

It is likely that you will already be working within the business administration sector, or already be employed in a cross-sector role or function that involves responsibility for defined business related activities with an area of responsibility, e.g. Office Manager Business, Development Manager and/or Executive Assistant Project Manager.
You require Level 1 in maths and English before beginning the apprenticeship.
