Careers Advice Zone
The Careers Advice Zone team provide support and guidance to help learners navigate their way through the maze of decisions regarding their futures.
Our services include:
- Individual guidance interviews
- Information on progression routes
- UCAS application support
- Employability skills
- CV and personal statement writing
- Apprenticeship, job vacancies and volunteering opportunities
- Progression Fair with up to 80 stands including employers, training providers and universities
- Workshops on topics such as CV writing, job hunting, personal statements and progression
The aims of our service is to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to make informed and realistic decisions about the future and to help achieve goals.
Appointments can be booked by visiting the Careers Advice Zone, by telephone, email or by ticking the box on the application form. Alternatively, drop-in visits are welcome during opening hours.
Details of job vacancies including apprenticeships and volunteering opportunities are advertised on notice boards outside the Centre and on the College intranet.
