This qualification will provide you with a range of transferable skills so
that you can progress onto a range of our HE courses.
Past students have progressed onto our foundation degree in Computing and
have then completed the BSc (Hons) Computing top-up degree. After completing
this degree you are well equipped to pursue a career in web design, web
development, IT consulting, IT systems management, systems analysis, games
development, data analysis and programming.
You can progress onto computer science at university or careers in computing.
You may decide to pursue a career in medicine, vetinary science, dentistry or
biochemistry.
Please note that many university computer science courses also ask for A
Level mathematics.
The College Careers Service is available to all our students. We can help you
when deciding which course or option you wish to take. During your course we
ensure you develop employability skills and gain relevant experience. We provide
information, advice and support when completing your course and progressing to
work or going into higher education. When applying for university we can provide
support with the UCAS application and Student Finance.
