What will I do?

The best way to learn how to care for people is to do exactly that. You will experience working in different settings in various roles to help you establish exactly where your passion and talents lie.

You could be experiencing life on one of the wards at Milton Keynes Hospital one week and delivering specific care for Dementia patients in a care home the next. But in everything you do, you will learn to make a vital difference in people’s lives, from nurturing young children to giving specialist care to vulnerable people of all ages.

This course will equip you with the theoretical knowledge, practical experience and self-confidence to kick off a promising and successful career in Health & Social Care.

What's next?

Depending on your chosen pathway, you could carry on studying with a university-level qualification in your specialism. Your course is an ideal starting point to progress to specialist areas such as midwifery, social work, nursing, mental health nursing and counselling.

If further study isn’t for you, you might want to kick off your career straight away by using the contacts and experience you gain whilst on your course to find employment in your chosen setting.

The industry also has great progression and development opportunities; you can branch out into different areas of care, and develop your management and leadership skills.
