Carpentry and Joinery
We are proud to offer some of the best construction facilities in the sector and the process of improving and upgrading them is ongoing.
The Moulton campus has several well equipped workshops for students to undertake practical work while specialist workshops for all trades can be found at the East Northants and Daventry vocational skills academies.
The workshops at Moulton include a specialist facility for carpentry and joinery and students become involved in practical projects around the campus and estate, producing finished work to commercial, professional standards.
Being awarded Centre of Vocational Excellence status for our construction programmes is a reflection of our commitment to high standards and innovative approaches to teaching.

Sustainable Technologies
The unique Collaborative Centre for the Built Environment (CCBE) is a partnership between the college, the University of Northampton and the University Centre Milton Keynes.
These organisations have come together with one common purpose: to instill current and future built environment professionals with the knowledge and skills to create genuinely sustainable developments and communities.
The aim is to develop a centre of excellence where professionals, researchers and students across a range of disciplines combine to contribute to contemporary debate and provide new thinking at the highest level.
With access to several towns, cities and rural locations, as well as major urban centres such as Birmingham and London, the CCBE will take full advantage of its setting and become a catalyst for a better society.
