Level 3 BTEC Information Technology


A qualification in ICT could be a gateway to securing employment in a very wide range of IT related positions and the level 3 is a qualification that is widely accepted by many universities to enrol on degree-level courses. This Extended Diploma course is equivalent to 3 A levels.

This practical, work-related qualification will prepare you for an IT career path or for studying computer science, cyber security or robotics at university level or further vocational courses.

The units that will be studied are varied and designed to ensure that students have a broad view of what makes up the online world. When students are completing Level 3 they can apply to university or make their start in the world of work.
