Is the Course for me?
This course enables you to try your hand at a variety of different construction and building tasks. Choose from different courses, ranging from carpentry to painting to plumbing, and get a feel for whether a career in construction is right for you.
What is involved?
In classroom sessions you will look at the Construction sector and gain an insight into the employment opportunities that are available. You will study Health & Safety to ensure that your working practices are safe. In the workshops you will develop the practical skills in a variety of areas. There will also be the opportunity to develop team building skills through sustainable project work.
You will also study English and MathsProgression
Providing you fulfil all of the course requirements you may be able to progress onto a L2 Diploma in Maintenance Operations.
