Careers Advice and the Careers Library
The College has an extensive Careers Library and website to assist you in planning for the future. Whether you are thinking of going on to Higher Education or into employment after College, you can be assured that we have the resources and knowledge to help you make the right decision.

Work Experience
As part of our work around progression we organise over 400 work placements every year. These include positions in schools for aspiring teachers, placements in hospitals and nursing homes for aspiring medics, as well as other roles with the police force, sports centres, law firms, laboratories, computing companies, accountants, local businesses and supermarkets. Any student is able to take up a placement, regardless of what courses you are taking with us.

Employment
Many of our students have gone on to secure full time employment in a role with training and development opportunities. We have individualised help for career planning or finding a job. As a result 93% of our students progress on to Higher Education or a full time career when they leave college.
