About this Course
This full Level 3 Technical Diploma prepares you to become an Early Years
Educator, enabling you to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain
knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.
Upon achievement of this two-year programme you’ll be able to enter the
workforce as an Early Years Educator or progress onto Higher Education.
Through attending placement, you’ll develop a range of employability skills
such as timekeeping, teamwork, organisational skills, planning and delivering a
range of activities to meet the curriculum, record keeping, assessing children’s
development and recording this on the child’s profile, partnership working and
safeguarding.

What are the entry requirements?
- Level 2 Childcare plus English and maths at GCSE Grade 4 or
above/Functional Skills Level 2 or;
- Five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including English and maths Plus:
- A clear enhanced DBS check
- Successful interview with a Course Tutor

- Portfolio of evidence

- Work placement assessment by an Early Years Assessor

Additional Information
College polo shirt, black trousers and sensible footwear will be required for placement. You’ll also be expected to purchase a course book.

Tuition Fees
- 16-18 year olds do not need to pay course fees
- Those aged 19 or over may not need to pay fees depending on their
