Description
This course is for candidates looking to develop the key skills and understanding in motor vehicle systems. Successful candidates will have the basic skills needed to apply for an automotive apprenticeship or similar engineering pathway. It will allow candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the automotive industry.v

Course Content
You will be able to remove and replace parts and components from heavy vehicles. You will also be able to service heavy vehicles.
Assessment Method
Assessment consists of assignments (practical assessment workbooks) comprising of practical tasks and knowledge based online multiple choice tests.
Progression Opportunities
Completion of this course allows candidates to progress into employment or to the Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Entry Requirements
Learners must be currently working within the Motor Vehicle Industry. Learners without formal qualifications but with five years' experience may be accepted on the course by interview.
