Childcare Level 2Early YearsYou will be assessed via a unit-by-unit approach through a combination of assessment styles, giving you the opportunity to showcase your skills and apply your knowledge in an appropriate, work-related context. You will be assessed in your placement setting by your work placement coordinator and will be required to meet a variety of competencies. All units and internally assessed and marked by your tutors.Career Insights
Childcare Level 3Early YearsYou will be assessed following a unit-by-unit approach through a combination of assessment styles, giving you the opportunity to showcase your skills and apply your knowledge in an appropriate, work-related context. You will be assessed in placement by your placement coordinator and will be required to show competency in a variety of areas. Units are mainly assessed internally by your tutors. There are also two externally marked controlled assessments; one in the first year and one in the second.Career Insights
Foundation Degree in Early Years Services Level 5Early YearsWork is assessed continually on an ongoing basis through the completion of assignment tasks.
