New T Level Qualification a hit with the first T Level Students at Wakefield College

T Levels are a new 2-year post GCSE qualification for 16-19 year olds that are being rolled out across England. Wakefield College launched its T Level offer this September with the first T Level students kicking it off in style.

On Monday 7th December at 5pm Wakefield College will hold a virtual event, T Levels: The Next Level Event, on their website and social media channels for prospective T level students and parents to give them more information on this exciting two year route into skilled employment, higher study or apprenticeships.
I started the Foundation Degree in Young Children’s Learning & Development, having completed the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. As a result I’m now a qualified Nursery Nurse.

I first studied here on the foundation degree, which was really interesting, especially the module which dealt with strategies to prevent and support types of behaviour, which I found really useful and enjoyable.

Some of our Level 3 Early Years students have just enjoyed a traditional Swedish Smorgasbord meal in Tällberg. They are on work placement in the forest schools programme in Sweden!
