Engineers are in high demand. The requirement for engineering occupations is expected to be over 124,000 annually until 2024 (Engineering UK report - 2019 update)

Engineering affects virtually every aspect of our lives. From the vehicles that take us to work, to the buildings in which we make our living and the satellites  that enable you to read this page on the web. All of these things are the work of engineers. 

There are employment opportunities for mechanical, electrical, electronic or chemical engineers and you could work in design, research and development, production or maintenance areas of a business.
